Tooth Fairy I am waiting

Harrison has had a tooth that has been hanging by a thread for quite a while now at least since the last couple weeks of school and today it finally fell out. I think he may be one of those kids that wants things to happen naturally, because after Jason and I both offered many suggestions about how to get it out he let it fall out on it's own. We were shopping today and he said I think today is the day my tooth is going to fall out and not even a minute later it did. Maybe next time he will use some of our brilliant advice and get that tiny thing out of there earlier.
Soon Harrison will have money in his pocket that he's got to spend.

Goodbye Goodtimes

Our last day of vacation on Wednesday we left North Myrtle Beach and headed up the coast to check out some future vacation spots and to take a ride on a ferry. We also stopped to have our last vacation dinner on the beach. We all had such a great time on our vacation, I enjoyed every minute of it and I am so thankful to have all the wonderful memories and photos to share.
I also added some videos below.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Today was my birthday and part of the reason we decided to go on this trip to the beach and the beach is my all time favorite place to go on vacation. I had the best birthday that I have ever had playing with my kids and watching them play! The kids dug into a hole on the beach and that kept them busy when they were not building castles, body boarding or just running around. For dinner we went to Greg Norman's Australian Grill and had a great meal, I think that is the nicest restaurant I have been to in a long time and the nicest the kids have ever been to and they behaved perfectly.
Happy Birthday to me, Thanks Jason, Harrison and Delaney for such a wonderful birthday, I love you guys!

Monday

We moved to a new hotel for our last 3 days at the beach, this time to a nicer place and only one mission spending all the time we can at the beach. We found an awesome spot on the beach and just stayed and played all day.

This was our Monday; Delaney was a little terrified of the waves but loved the baby pools of water left behind after the tide went out. Harrison spent most of his time building sand castles and moats.

Ride em cowgirl

The only photo that came out of day 2 at the beach was Delaney on the horse. We spent the entire day at the water park and I was not lugging the camera around with me for fear it would get wet. We had a great time at the water park, we all rode the big slides over and over and over again and we were almost the only ones there, it was fantastic. I slid down the wedgie slide, that was brutal and I am sure if any of you are water slide fans you know what I mean.
This water park was awesome they had the big slides we could all ride together then they had shorter slides the kids could go on alone. I am sorry that I did not get any photos it was really cute to see the kids have so much fun go up and down and we just sat in the 2 foot water and watched them.

Myrtle Beach '08

We made it to the beach, YEAH!!! We are all so excited to be here and have some funtastic things planned. When we arrived on Saturday afternoon we went straight to our hotel and then to the beach just to see it. We then were off to play 9 holes of miniature golf and Harrison won.
Later that afternoon we went to an indoor go kart track with karts Harrison could ride on his own, honestly his Jeep at home goes faster but he was so serious and said "That was the most fun I have ever had"!
Included in our package with our hotel was passes for 2 water parks and an amusement park, so we finished the night with a trip to the amusement park. We got Delaney on her first big ride, The Scrambler. She rode with me and Jason and Harrison rode together. When the ride started she was pretty excited, but as it sped up she lowered her head almost onto my lap and said my stomach hurts. I worried the whole ride she was going to vomit, but at the end of the ride which did go 3x longer than the normal ride she said "that was CO-OOL, I loved that ride!" But the next day when we went by the park she said while pointing to the Scramble "I am not going to ride that ride again".
Needless to say we all passed out the second our heads hit our pillows.

The part arrived earlier than expected, now let the summer of fun continue. We have been spending most of our time lately either playing on the swingset or hammock in the backyard, riding bikes in the front yard at the pool or at baseball.

Beach or Bust

We are gearing up for another big trip of the summer, we are packing for the beach and will be leaving on Saturday. Hopefully the computer will be ready to add photos by Friday, Jason ordered the part and I am hopeful it will be here before we leave.

We will be going to Myrtle Beach visiting a resort for 2 days that is on the beach it has a water park and amusement park, I can hardly wait I love water slides. The photo's are from the resort we will staying at. Then we will spend the next 2 days at another hotel relaxing on the beach. I will be spending my birthday on the BEACH!!!!!!

TIme for a break

I have been taking a break from uploading pictures to my blog due to computer malfunctions. The device that my camera hooks into on my computer is broken and until it is fixed I am going to go on a break.
We have been having a pretty exciting summer since the last day of school spending most of our time in water of some sort.
Today Harrison went with Delaney and I to her playgroup and he said it was his luckiest day ever since he finally got to go to her playgroup and see what it was all about. The playgroup leader got a real kick out of that since she sees 3 playgroups a day 5 days a week. She said now that makes me appreciate my job so much more!!

1ST GRADE HERE I COME!!

They are right about growing up so quickly, it does really seem like yesterday I was scared to death to send my son to Kindergarten and today he came off the bus a 1st grader. During the assembly at his school the principal reminded us that this is the class of 2020; that did not make me cry but when she said 12 years from now your children will be graduating from High School that made me cry. We have already lived 6 years with Harrison and it really did go by fast already, how can I cram so much into just 12 years. It is all way too overwhelming.
His teacher gave out awards, each one was different and Harrison won The Reading Award.
At the end of each school year we have measured Harrison and this year he grew 3 full inches he is 46 1/2" he is almost tall enough to ride the big rides.
