I can see clearly now!

Mark this day as the day he tells his kids he starting wearing glasses. My little 3rd grader has been having trouble seeing some things and of course it was inevitable with a blind Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandparents and a father that also has poor vision, really there was never a question. My poor children will be taking care of glasses for most of their lives like their parents have been. What do you think? Pretty handsome right!

LOST TOOTH!

Delaney has had her first loose tooth for what seems like a very short time, being very careful not to knock it out with any food or her tooth brush, she would not even let us touch it. I guess she was waiting for it to fall out naturally.

After getting on the bus this morning Harrison ran back to the door and said Delaney lost her tooth, so I ran over to the door to get it and say Congratulations let me see and I heard her crying. The bus driver said I could come on in, I found Delaney in her seat crying hysterically and the tooth was gone and she had no idea where or when it fell out and she said while crying I can't find my tooth; now I won't get any money.

I took her back home and she said I will write a note to the tooth fairy. She wrote "I lost my toh and I dot hav tat much mune can you give me sum ples by Delaney"

How cute is that, poor kid will probably get extra from the fairy for being so dang cute.

Batter Up!!

Could she be any happier? Can you imagine sitting in the stands for 5 years watching baseball and finally getting YOUR day in the spotlight? You got it baby; today is your day! There are only 2 girls on the team and they are both decked out with pink sleeves, pink belts, pink helmets and pink water bottles. I thought pink shoes was kinda pushing it! She had great hits and played short stop like a pro. I must say she is the most patient, best listener and after all the years of watching she has quite a good amount of skill on the field and her Mommy and Daddy and so darn proud of her.

Kindergarten Fieldtrip

What a fun day for the kids they took a 45 minute ride in a touring bus to a park loaded with fun stuff to do. They rode on a carousel and a train, visited the zoo, saw some amazing snakes and beautiful birds, had lunch in the woods and played on the most amazing playground. I had so much fun tagging along and watching them. I am so happy that you can take a step into our lives for a moment and I can share these memories with you as well!
