I am the proudest sister

My brother has worked so hard for so long away from his family on the road for more than 5 years during the busy seasons with hardly anytime at home as a camera operator for so many different events. He has been recognized during his most recent work for ABC/ESPN/ESPN2 and won a 2007 Sports Emmy for Outstanding Technical Team-Remote as a Remote Camera Operator. We are all so proud of his outstanding achievement and recognition of the beautiful and flawless work that we have all been watching on TV for years. Although he is always behind the camera, it is always fun to watch knowing which camera that he is behind and sometimes when we are lucky during the Indy 500 we will see him atop the Pagoda with his camera. We know there are many more to come!!!

Andy Griffith Day

During our visit with Grandma and Grandpa we visited Mt. Airy home of Andy Griffith. Jason took the day off from work and Harrison took the day off from school. We all had a great time discovering all the many tourist attractions of the Andy Griffith show as well as going to the World's largest open-face granite quarry.

Weekend Warriors

After a year and a half of looking at the jungle in our backyard we are finally creating the yard we want. We spent the entire weekend in the yard, Jason tilled the yard up with a rototiller, we moved the plants and layed a brick path with the ton of bricks the previous homeowner had all over the yard. What an accomplishment that Jason and I did together. We have created about 6 more feet of flat ground, good for the kids to play on but bad for Jason who has to mow it.

Boo and Twirl

The kids had such a great time trick or treating. This year I gave Harrison his choice to be anything he wanted and he wanted to be a can of soda and we came up with Mountain Boo. WHAT, I was hoping for something easy, but instead I spent lots of hours painting and must say pretty pleased with the finished product. So anyway we had a can of Mountain Boo and Cinderella that went Trick or Treating with Batman (Savanna) and Dorthy (Sydnee). Our neighborhood was great we had neighbors with a haunted tunnel up to their house a neighbor with a haunted trail in their backyard and a neighbor with a haunted house in their garage.
