FUN AT THE MALL
We spent this past weekend at the Mall in Concord, Harrison is the exact height to ride the real go-karts on his own. They also have mini go-karts Delaney could drive but she said she would wait until she was bigger for those and just ride the baby ones now. This mall has great outlet shopping and lots of fun things to do, we had a really great time!
It is so funny but with all the moving that we have done we never see anyone we know anywhere we go and during this trip Jason saw a friend from college that lives in South Charlotte now, a co-worker at Rubbermaid and I saw a co-worker from Ulta.
Harrison is in the green Waste Management (WM) car,
he is hard to see under the steering wheel
Delaney is in the #18, Interstate Battery car

Preeschool Fire Safety
Today the Mooresville Fire Department Engine #3 came to Delaney's preschool. They watched a firefighter get dressed in his gear and I was amazed at the amount of boys that broke down crying and hiding their eyes when he was suited up. I think Delaney was amazed at the whole process because she did not say a word and just stared at him. They also got a visit from Sparky the fire dog and again a lot of criers in the room, but Delaney jumped off my lap and ran to him to give him a hug right when he walked in. WOW, way to go Delaney way to set an example on how to be a big girl. They got to go in the firetruck and they all thought that was so cool. We have 4 fire stations here in Mooresville and the one that visited the school today is the station that services our area and since it is #3 and Dale Earnhardt Inc is also in the area they have become the most popular truck in town due to it's number and memorial decals on the truck.

Funny Girl
Since school started not much exciting has happened around here to blog about, just the usual school and work. But today Delaney said and did something funny while reading books.
She dislikes flies and has actually come a long way, as a baby she would scream and cry when she would see a fly.
Now she is taking actions into her own hands, needless to say the fly is still in the house.
She is saying "We can't read this book because it's terrible, can you hear a little southern in her terrible.
